Excel is a family owned and operated business with three generations in the Real Estate industry. Exceeding expectations for over 27 years, our name is our reputation. We take pride in our professional code of ethics, first & foremost.
Our inspectors are licensed by T.R.E.C., members of T.A.R.E.I., T.P.R.E.I.A., NACHI and have extensive construction experience. We continually update our training and education to be at the top of our profession.
Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet us until we are hired. Rick, Lic. #873, has performed over 26,000 single & multi-family inspections, including apartments & commercial buildings. He is a designated “Professional” Inspector, the toughest of all 3 designations earned through the Texas Real Estate Commission. He is also a CPI, or Certified Professional Inspector. Rick has been performing home inspections for over 29 years.
Brandon Runnels
Brandon, Lic. #9809 joined the company fulltime in 2007, although he worked many summers in the family business. He was a graduate of Wimberley High School and attended Texas State before joining the EXCEL Team. Brandon and his wife Jessica live in the Cedar Park area.
Ann Runnels
Ann is the office administrator and handles the inspection scheduling. She is also available to answer questions about the inspection process, scheduling and price.
